Terms & Conditions

Luxury Flooring Manchester Ltd aims to provide a first class service to all of its customers under very clear terms and conditions. These are the terms and conditions, which apply to all purchases from Luxury Flooring Manchester Ltd and shall apply as the binding and entire Contract between the Company and the Customer and are to be read in conjunction with the particulars of any estimation documentation. The term “you” refers to the Buyer, the term “The Company” “us” “we” or “our” refers to Luxury Flooring Manchester Ltd.

Estimates, Acceptance, Orders and Invoices

Estimates: Luxury Flooring Manchester Ltd provides all formal estimates for products, materials and our services via email only. Estimates are prepared as a guide and are subject to change. Some floor preparation and floor installations may require unforeseen works/materials. Such works/materials will incur additional costs, which you will be notified of before Luxury Flooring Manchester Ltd commences. Upon agreement we will prepare and email you an additional invoice.

Acceptance: The acceptance of an estimate by us, or the placement of an order, includes the acceptance of these terms and conditions which shall apply between us, Luxury Flooring Manchester Ltd and “you” The Customer who shall be the party accepting our estimate or placing an order with us. No terms or conditions stipulated or referred to by the Customer in any form whatsoever shall in any respect vary or add to these terms and conditions unless otherwise agreed by the Company in writing.

Placing an order: We cannot place orders any flooring, materials or hold any dates in the diary until the balance of the invoice has been paid into the company bank account and has been confirmed by us

Invoices: All invoices issued by Luxury Flooring Manchester Ltd require payment in full. The Company may at its absolute discretion grant to the customer a payment condition where 50% of the total order price payable plus full payment of any extras chosen to be made. The remainder of the payment is payable on the day that we complete the fitting of the floor.

All goods remain the property of Luxury Flooring Manchester Ltd until paid for in full.

If you fail to pay us on the agreed date or day of completion we may;

  • Charge you interest at the rate set under S.6 of the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (interest) Act 1999.
  1. Calculated (on a daily basis) from the date of our invoice until payment.
  2. Compounded on the first day of each month.
  3. Before and after judgement (unless a court orders otherwise).

Claim fixed sum compensation from you under S.5A of that Act to cover our credit control overhead cost.

Recover (under clause 5.8) the cost of taking legal action to make you pay.

Cancellations: Orders & Fitting Dates

Orders: If you wish to cancel your order please contact us as soon as possible. If an order has been processed and your products delivered to us you will be liable for any of the costs incurred by us (this may include delivery to return products, cost of stock which cannot be returned and restocking fees charged to us by our suppliers). We CANNOT cancel any carpet that has been cut to size nor can you return it. Orders cancelled after carpets have been cut will incur the cost of the carpet.

Fitting Dates: Luxury Flooring Manchester Ltd reserves the right to levy a surcharge of £200.00 per man per day if the Client changes an installation date within seven days of the agreed date.

Pre installation checks 
On the agreed installation day please have the room cleared of as much furniture as possible, carpet removed, skirting boards removed (or extra charges may apply). **fitters are not liable for any damages if they are required to remove skirting, architraves, doors or move items out of the way in order to inspect or prepare your subfloor, remove old flooring or install new flooring . If you require movement of items this is at your own risk.***

Your Guarantee

Luxury Flooring Manchester Ltd guarantees our work for the entire warranty period of your floor. Normally form 5-35 years depending on the chosen floor. NB misuse of the floor can void your warranty. Issues arising due to moisture, building faults or incorrect after-care are not covered by your warranty. We recommend reading the manufacturers after care guides and the guides on our website or that will be sent to you upon completion of your floor installation.
